September 26: Darkness of the blossoms

These blossoms seem do dark in black and white. In actuality, they are dark pink. At the public library, there are two large urns either side of the door. Until today, I thought all of the blossoms of the flowers were pink. I found out that there is at least one white impatien flowers planted among the other flowers. Each urn has one mandevilla plant with impatiens and vincas at the base of that tall plant. The flower combination is lovely all summer long into the early Autumn. I miss those flowers in the winter.
They are so different in b&w - you do notice the details more, but I miss the color in these. Think that's one of the things I really miss in winter - no color.

The black and white gives the impression that they are a deep red, so it's interesting to see the color shot next to this one in the thumb nail. Nice shot!

I'm not sure which I prefer the color or the black and white. Love the color one day and black the white the next.

@milaniet Thanks! I noticed the difference in the details between the color and BW version too. I miss the colors in the witner too. Wintere seems so monochromatic.

@olivetreeann Thanks. I noticed same impression too about the color of the flowers when they were in BW. Interesting!
