Red Pansy

This is a red pansy that was blooming in my greenhouse (plastic covered raised garden bed). I raised the exposure value to get a higher exposure. In the high key colored image, the center was blank. When I processed this to black and white, the center started showing back up. I am definitely learning by raising the exposure value before changing the image to black and white.
Great job Daisy! It's fun to see what everyone is taking away from this challenge.

I think that experimenting is the best way to learn how to use a camera. It's important that one doesn't give up. I like this.

@paulaw Thank you. I enjoy pansies too. One of my great aunts grew these lovely pansies, so I have been fond of pansies since I was a child.
