Winter Storm Decima began with drizzle, freezing drizzle, sleet, and an icy mix. The water droplets froze on the leaves of the what plants. This was shot from my dining room window. I wanted to go outside and shoot this. However, I have asthma, which acts up when it is cold. Winter Storm Decima also brought an Artic blast of cold air. I played it safe and stayed indoors.
Much smarter idea to stay inside with it that cold - I know what it does to those with asthma - do you use a neck gaiter this time of year? I do and find it does help to warm the air I breath. Those plants are totally covered with droplets!
@thewatersphotos I stayed indoors for three days! Today, I ventured out for one Christmas party during the middle of the day, but I will skip the second party this evening due to the falling temperatures.
@congaree We usually do not get such a prolonged icy mixture that leaves so many water droplets. We don't don't usually get a lot of snow here, but we do get some. If we get a large amount of snow, I will try to send some your way.
