Winter's Bounty

I always leave some of the perennial flower stalks in the garden during the winter time. The birds like to perch on the stalks. The birds also use the plant stalks as cover from the weather and for safety from the hawks that fly overhead. I like the plant stalks, because they give me photo opportunities in the middle of winter.
