Go Gators!

Today my beloved Gators defeated the Mightly LSU Tigers. What a great game! These Gators are in my yard. The one on the left was given to me by my favorite brother many years ago. It was handmade out of iron and wrapped with orange lights. We have placed it in the yard every football game since. A few times, we have not put it out and they lost, causing our neighbors to volunteer to put it out if we were gone!

My youngest son also went to UF and worked as a recruiter for the football team. He now writes for GatorCountry.com (on the side of his regular job).

We all bleed Orange and Blue in this house! Glad I brought up my boys correctly!

We went out for dinner last night and they had the game on. I got to see the last 5 minutes of the game!
