A rather lame attempt for today's word of "shadow". Our City's goal is to shade the streets with street trees. Hurricane Wilma took down all the trees on our street except one of ours. We have since replanted to some degree and the trees are large enough to do as intended. Many people here do not appreciate what trees do for us: cool the temperatures, provide oxygen. I believe in the "right tree, right place" philospophy. I do love trees! I was waiting for the visitor next door to leave with his car, but just that quick the shadows were gone. Does this mean another 6 weeks of winter for us in Florida? I sure hope so!
I haven't done a shadow picture yet. I might not get a chance to unless I make my own light. It has been cloudy and snowing all morning. I might have to do an alternate. Happy Ground Hog Day from Phil's home state of Pennsylvania :) I actually got to work in Punxsutawney once for a few weeks! Yah for me!
The arctic freeze has obviously given my brain a bit of frostbite...I thought this was snow at first & figured you must have gone on vacation to the mountains! Great shadows!
@sisarie I can see why you'd see "snow"! I hope you thaw out before too long!!
@skipt07 That's cool that you got to go there!
