Today's word of "bicycle/transportation" was a bit of a challenge. I asked my neighbor if I could photograph her daughter on her bike. "Sure!", she said and then promptly forgot! I took a few other shots and was about a minute from uploading when she called to say they were home. We were able to spend about five minutes shooting before it got dark. I had to change a bunch of settings to get her in the right color and see her face, too. Since there were so many colors, though, I changed it to b&w. I liked the look on her face and the movement, even if I did cut off her foot.
Thank you all for your nice comments. She is such a cute little girl. Full of energy! The lighting was a challenge and I was glad to overcome it. She didn't have a lot of patience and trying to not include all the background clutter was a trick.I did choose this one because of her expression.
