My granddaughter was playing a game on the iPad and was trying to teach me what you need to do. It was something to do about horses. Her favorite is called, "Beauty". So this makes me think of her. I hope you get all tour photos transferred and get unburied so you can enjoy life and photography!
@bardejov The horses in Ocala are typically race horses or they are show horses.
@skipt07 My computer space was down to 5%. It is a daunting task to do "something" with these photos! I am always thankful when work is so busy, but it has been a challenge to keep up. Your granddaughter is blessed to have you close by and be a role model in her life.
@danette - If you haven't really gotten into the process of transferring your photos yet, have you considered buying an external hard drive? You could easily move all your photos to it rather then burning them to a CD or DVD.
@skipt07 you'll be the best kind of role model--one who loves her and is vested in her well being. I know you will have a special relationship. As for my files...I have crashed external drives before and i fear having photos in one location. So, while I am transferring them to an external drive, which will back them up to Carbonite, I also am uploading them to Dropbox. So far, just uploading my 2011 cloud photos has taken a few hours!
Aren't these magnificent creatures? *So* smart in many respects.
Yeah, I dropped an external hard drive and lost several months of RAW and high-quality .jpg images ( http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2011-07-24). RAW and .jpg are now on a 1.5Tb external hard drive with which I'm more careful and high-quality .jpg files are backed up "in the cloud." Negatives were *so* much easier to deal with ( http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2011-11-27 and http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2011-11-28)... [Whine. Whine. Whine.] But I digress — A wonderful image of a beautiful animal, Danette!
