114 years of changes in Ft. Lauderdale

The building in the front is the first post office/trading post built in Ft. Lauderdale (1901) before it even had a name (1911). This sits on the site of the Stranahan House, which is Broward County's oldest building/trading post/bank/post office. Directly behind this historic site rise multiple buildings. It wasn't that long ago that Ft. Lauderdale was a sleepy town!
Great shot
