Stranahan House view

This home is the oldest structure in Ft. Lauderdale, built in 1901. It is the home of early settlers, Frank and Ivy Stranahan. They traded with the Seminole Indians, plus ran the first bank and post office at their home. It is located on the New River in the center of downtown Ft. Lauderdale.
