Yes, we get fall, too. It just arrives at a different time than in other states. Our Pongam tree will lose all its leaves in a short period of time and the new leaves will blossom right behind. There are some yellow leaves here, so taging it with the March word of yellow.
OMG! We are twins! We have 5 Pongam trees, and I have never known anyone else who had them! Our yard is full of leaves right now. When we didn't know what it was, we called it an Easter tree. All the leaves are gone by Easter, and new growth begins. All of our neighbors are amazed at how fast they grew up. I have several started in pots.
@billsouth That's too funny, Bill! What do you do with FIVE of them?? Our tree is huge. The trunk is easily 2' in diameter. We almost took it out after Wilma but it has a nice shape and all the other trees were lost on the street. The flowers are a nuisance!
