The nearby canals are always a good source of a photographic opportunity or two, perfect for today's word and with so many differing archways to choose from.
The architecture around this area is simply stunning and particularly interesting as (like i've said before) it was once a very busy route into and out of the black country's industrial past.
This is a great image, the strong arch structures replicated into the distance, the reflection and the bridge pier base really reinforce today's word. Like your B&W treatment.
A really good shot Darren....like you said, so many choices. We have the Grand Union Canal and a few beautiful bridges and arches a short distance away but I don't like going there on my own, so I had to improvise for todays word. :-)
@quietpurplehaze The canals come in handy should i have any uninspired days although maybe not tomorrow for a portrait shot. Wanted to do one of Paul but he's said NO!
SO many arches!! GREAT interpretation....
I usually go to the canal with @donna_miller, it's not a bad area, in fact the area around is rather beautiful, but it is rather remote if you run into trouble
I'm starting to get the same reaction from my other half to having his pic on 365 - maybe he thinks enough is enough!
