The Ice Hotel came complete with it's own Ice Bar & Restaurant and with drinks served in an ice glass, who could resist a tipple or two? There were many drinks on offer and the majority of them were vodka based, probably something to do with having Russia as a close neighbour? The Lapponia drinks were particularly nice - the local fruit, a cloudberry was a good choice to have, a sort of marmalade tasting alcohol.
Yes most likely that...or the fact that it´s so darn cold in Finland that we need something to warm us during the cold winter. I wouldn´t really touch any of them except the Salmiakki, that´s yummy -perhaps too yummy
