Was pleasantly surprised with this photo. I am trying to use my 35mm Sigma Art lens more, and while driving around to catch a new shot, I spotted this odd sculpture in the town of Alpharetta, GA. It had a couple of tendrils, with a base that was more like a "note" maker as in music--probably a saxophone as I think more. My first shots were in the opposite direction where the moon and sun competed for the spotlight while the clouds drifted in and out. I may put the other one (color) in the "Others" album.
I am always drawn to reflective surfaces, especially in photography (but not while doing portraits--too many me's to edit out), but I'm in the shot, of course. The corner reminds me of an old fashioned bell, so I like to think of the abstract ringing in the New Year.
Had a great walk and talk today with my friend--we meet Sundays for an hour to catch up. I also got in my daily 3.1 miles (maybe will do a 1,000 miler year if I can't get back to gym soon--how I miss my classes!).
