This was a huge project, but as you can see from the before and afters, now I have a lovely patio, a retaining wall, and a vegetable garden on one side and flowering bushes, ferns, hostas on the other side. I've painted the poles holding the cafe lights since taking these photos and I also painted some steps we constructed to go to the terrace level on the hill. It's so satisfying now to enjoy the outdoors!
@newbank Many thanks. It's my new happy place. A bit chilly now, but I have a heat lamp to sit under when I really want to stay out longer than a bit of gardening.
I love how you showed the work in progress from beginning to end. It looks like a remarkable place for you and I know how you love being outdoors. I would say it was well worth all the effort for you.
