This morning, this squirrel and his buddy were performing all kinds of feats on the trees (and I got a cute shot of one eating the green apples off my tree), but they were being watched meticulously by my wrens--they were all in a shouting match for at least 5 minutes--I've already sided with the wrens.
P.S. I'm not much in commenting mode these days--I apologize in advance. Just trying to keep up my posting for now and will get into it again soon. Please know I'm looking at photos every day. Just feeling the tug of kids and time off and not wanting to be behind a computer when I could be outside, taking shots, and enjoying what may be my last summer without employment--who knows, but I just have to get out!
Great shot, they are cheeky chappies, we have them all over the garden because I have so many bird feeders, my husband is NOT amused!! Hope you are ok, I know you have a lot on your plate right now but hope you can dip in and out when you have the time.
This does look like a very circus like act! I understand about wanting to be with your girls while you have the opportunity. You should enjoy your summer off, guilt -free! If you aren't able to comment as much, eh...no biggie. I am sure you will be around some. I will enjoy watching the photos you post!
@spair@jo13 thanks for understanding. I know I get to other photos as much as I can--just feeling a little like I can't "do it all"--please know I'm looking at your photos! And I'll be faving without comment sometimes. I wish there was a "like" button like fbook, but then that is not so personal. :)
Wonderful capture of this acrobat! I understand the push and pull you are experiencing. You have to strike the right balance for you and your family. I'm glad you are continuing your project and will hopefully drop in when life and mood allows. Enjoy your summer!
Lovely contrast of colours. I know what you say about commenting, I am on holiday up in Aviemore in the Cairngoms, for three weeks. All I have to do is cycling, mountain biking, hill walking, photography, enjoying the fabulous scenery, eating, drinking, a bit of sleep time now and then, posting picture on here and trying to get beautiful sunset and sunrise shots which up here seem to be about two hours apart, if that. Oh and driving over to the West coast of Scotland to visit miles and miles of beautiful stunning beaches with only me on them. Apart from that I have got all day to comment. Haha. Be back in work soon for a rest.
And never worry about commenting. It's just good to see your posts!
