Oh, what glorious light today! I was in the backyard assembling my new solar decorative lantern lights when I saw so much bird activity--tit mouses, mockingbirds (the whole clan back for berries), cardinals, chickadees, and my hummingbirds--oh, and who knew, hummingbirds chase other big birds? A poor tit mouse was getting a serious scolding by the ruby-throated hummer (female). Bird world is never dull.
After I finished my light assembly chore, I decided to go get my camera and wait for some activity to arrive -- because, whenever I do go get my camera, everyone leaves (of course).
Then this Robin came around. I just waited for it to adjust to my presence, and then it went about fluttering in the very popular berry tree--it's the most popular bird food in the neighborhood! This shot worried me some when I uploaded it as there was lots of "dust" evident--it's not the lens I think--it's the dust from the bird (my other shots don't show the problem).
