Yesterday, I loaded up the camera to go with me on some errands and when I got out of the car to snap a potential subject, I got the "memory card missing" message. No worries! I'm in year two, and I don't care!
I'm suffering a bit of insomnia, so in addition to paying bills, organizing legal documents, and generally decluttering at odd hours of the "a.m." time, I'm looking back to see if there was a photo I'd like to work with that is not too old.
And I found this one! It's taken with my nifty-fifty downtown the day before my birthday (my husband and I went on our own for a visit to the Aquarium and to the World of Coca-Cola). I know it's my nifty-fifty because of the number of bursts coming from my sun flare I caught on the Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel. It's a perfectly clear day so the difference in black and white is really interesting, but I liked how the light came in on this one to process in black and white. The flare was a real fun bonus to the shot!
I keep saying I don't like urban images, and you and @taffy made me a liar today. I like the stairstep composition of this crisp image, and the flair is perfect. This should be getting favs.
