Week Two, Invasion in Progress, Autumn Olive by darylo

Week Two, Invasion in Progress, Autumn Olive

I decided last week that after taking a macro of 7 different buds, I'd like to revisit them 3 more weeks on the same day (so from a month's view, you can see how the bud progresses to bloom over the month!). This is my invasive species, noxious pest plant, but I love it because it feeds the birds and animals! It also has such delicious smelling blooms! :)

Here is the bud (or one almost exactly the same--didn't mark anything when in the rain last week!) one week ago today! http://365project.org/darylo/365/2014-03-03

This is so fun. I'm so thankful to those on 365 who come up with themes that I can work with and custom-tailor. Can't wait to see what everyone else is doing in Macro-March too!
This will be interesting to watch!

@anazad511 This one is slower than others, but I suspect we won't really see too much until the third week (except the Bradford Pear will start to stink up the whole hood soon--so it'll be a nice bloom). ;)

@pamknowler I'm so glad I decided to do it. The original idea was buds one week, bugs the next, architectural the next. But I like tracking these 7 until bloom (may even go into April!). It also makes zero planning ahead of time. I'm very excited for tomorrow, though, as I'll go on a photo walk with a prof. photo friend of mine at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Woooohoooo! And probably achhhhooooo!
