What a Day. This shot is of a friend of mine at her husband's graduation party (grad school) at a local pub. What a fun gathering of friends and family! I'm a bit sad because she will leave to live in California, but the power of virtual media will keep us all connected.
One of my favorite things about Rachel is she is such a genuine person. She's kind, she's creative, and she can tell jokes and laugh at things, even when things get tough. There is something about being around her entire family that makes you witness something "authentic."
And one of my favorite things I love on Rachel's right arm is this beautiful tattoo--with a bird. I can't turn down a photo with a bird, and I've watched the progression of this tattoo from its first inking. Only Rachel could carry off this kind of tattoo with grace and beauty.
