First Homecoming by darylo

First Homecoming

After all the drama finding a dress that didn't cost too much and finding shoes that didn't cause an awkward walk (heels), my daughter got a haircut and look, she's no longer a girl! She's all grown up! I'm in shock at her absolute beauty. She took a best friend to the dance. And we went to Moe's for dinner (nothing fancy). Right now, they are playing video games. But this shot, this was the one I loved tonight. Here is the other shot I didn't pick, but I like for its better quality (focus is much better): http://365project.org/darylo/didn-t-make-cut/2014-11-01

What a little beauty! She has such poise! Love the dress and her hair. Gosh suddenly they are all grown up! Is it a bit scary Daryl? A gorgeous portrait! You must be a very proud mum!

@nanderson @annied @pamknowler Pam, totally scary! Thanks ladies. I can't believe this is my child. I'm glad I caught her with my camera before the light went completely out! :)

She's lovely! I love the feeling of excitement you have captured. I like them both, and agree that the focus is probably better in the other, but I really like the confident tilt of her head here.
