Pumpkin Time Bomb! by darylo

Pumpkin Time Bomb!

My husband and daughter wanted to recreate something they saw on Jimmy Fallon's late night show--You place rubber bands around a pumpkin until it explodes and cuts precisely in half. Takes approximately 200 rubber bands. Here is a collage of the event: http://365project.org/darylo/didn-t-make-cut/2014-11-02 . If I can find the YouTube video, I'll try to link it too. It was pretty funny!

Editing note: top right corner had a glove in the shot, so I cloned it out! I thought it worked ok. Can you tell?? :)
That's just weird! :-) I can't tell you cloned out a glove. Good for you!

Wonderful cloning job. This is so very weird but I'm off to buy rubber bands now 😃

No sign of the glove -- good cloning! And what a cool idea! Amazing to see how successfully it worked and off to look at your collage.

Well done on the cloning ! Wouldn't a sharp knife be easier and faster? :~} Wonderful capture of the results though.

@grammyn but is a knife more fun? A resounding NO! This was hilarious. I'll send you the link to their YouTube post. This will be an annual tradition going forward. And I think we'll go for a watermelon in summer! :)

I thought that I had commented on this - I meant too! This is so cool, I love that y'all put it to the test and this is a really funky picture. When I first saw it I was like "What in the world?" :)
