One of my last "Old Car City" contributions to share. I know I have not really done much in the way of new photos these past few months, but I'm working more on processing and doing some long photo shoots, which means I have a lot of shots from just one day. Had it been my first year, I would have said, "move along." But this year, I want quality, something that shows my progression. This was one of my favorite shots from the whole day because it shows much of the detail and color that can be drawn from the angle. The background even works for me, but that door, the busted window, well they lead me into a narrative that seems dark and mysterious (even dangerous). I have one month and 20 days left in this project. Will try to "finish strong." Last year, my final days of year one were derailed by my emergency trip to Mexico to handle the death of my mother-in-law (solo). I'm apprehensive about Decembers as a result. I'm hoping for a pretty uneventful December to be honest.
So much to see in this one! Very well done too! Hope yoiur December is uneventful. I am still looking back to progress made since last year. I know how you feel!
Thanks for the birthday wishes, Daryl! I love the old cars photo series, and the b&w version of this one is especially stellar. This one I like for the color processing and that broken window.
Goodness what a find, it makes for a great image, did you use any HDR on it I can't quite tell? I remember your emergency dash well, hope December goes smoothly for you.
