@kali66@danette@jgpittenger@annied@pamknowler@grammyn@redy4et@newbank Hello friends! Thanks so much for visiting my little hello post! I'm happy to report that after lots of Dr. visits, a few pain procedures, lots of physical therapy, and a very regular routine of exercise (an hour a day at least), my back IS better, but it's always in some form of pain or another--nothing like the nightmare now almost 2 years ago. What I have learned is that I have to keep moving no matter what and I also exercise not because I "should: but because I "can." I participate in swimming, Zumba (modified), and Barre classes to strengthen everything. This year, I have run 2 5ks so far, and I've tried to hold off the degenerative back problems I can't rid myself of, but can slow down. I love my group exercise classes the most because I have new friends who are so positive -- and my instructors really help me modify all my moves so I can still get the full experience of being active. I have had a few setbacks, and when that does happen, I go right into the pool every day to get my exercise--it is the ONLY exercise I can do without ANY pain. As long as I live, I will continue swimming. Life is good otherwise--one child in college for 2nd year, the other a senior in high school. I spent the last summer doing lots of things, but not much photography. I'm trying to get back into it with clients (portraits, realestate shots, head shots). Hope everyone is well. I really miss 365. I keep promising myself I'll get back into it, and then I fall short. xoxo
@darylo so glad to hear that your ordeal has become bearable. I am constantly amazed at all the energy you have and all the activity you pack into your life
Great to hear your up date. I love swimming too. It's my go to to help manage pain, stiffness and movement in my shoulder post mastectomy. It helps manage my moods on hormonal meds. It's my very much go to happy place!!
I am so happy to hear your back is better and it sounds as if you have your life back. Phew. I too love swimm8ng though I had to cut it short last fall cause it irritated my shoulder
