My daughter’s full team of students from Year One to Four. Milton placed in all categories! I rarely take people shots but i thought this one came out nicely.
@grammyn Yes! Sorry, was on phone. There are probably an equal number of boys and girls, so I'm not sure why the selection of more boys for competition. This high school merges programs from significant MS programs (and speaking from a partial parent's perspective, our MS program is the most developed). When Kira was president of the Japanese National Honor Society of MS, again, more boys than girls. Even as she prepared for the competition, she was goaded a bit for seemingly being less-qualified by those on her team. I think she proved them wrong. Since it the International Women's Day, I celebrate my daughter for being exactly who she is--a smart, prepared, girl for the world that awaits, even if it's not exactly pro-female. ;)
You have every right to be proud of this excellent young female! It is important to celebrate them and all their accomplishments especially on this day!
Great shot. Group shots are harder than they look. I used to hate to do them when I worked at the newspaper. But, these teens didn't seem to mind you taking their photo!
