The usual prep but my niece insisted that we all have to be in the same room for Thanksgiving (we usually have 4 "kids" in the kitchen. We now have 4 tables pieced together for 16! We pulled out the china, crystal, silver, bowls, platters, and did some floral arrangements. My brother tackled my jungle of a back yard. The girls decorated the gingerbread house while my mom, dad, and I did a shopping run. I made my own broth (for making gravy) from the turkey neck and gizzard (after roasting them with veggies). Aidan and I prepped the turkey with our signature under-the-skin herb butter spread. I'm tired, trying to keep spirits up. There's messes everywhere, but I just don't care anymore. Off to make cranberry relish. Tomorrow I hope to get some wonderful shots. ♡ to everyone.
