A New Chapter Begins

15. 15. 15. Not possible.

She passed her driver's permit exams. Now she can drive on the roads with me in the passenger seat. We started a tradition to take the first trip to a friend's house, and since she wasn't there, we drove there, snapped a shot in front of her house, and sent her evidence that a newly permitted driver stopped by!

She is about to go to the city pool to meet up with some friends for fun in the sun. Later we will go to Longhorn (an odd choice since both girls are not eating meat lately! Ha! But it's up to the birthday girl).

xoxo sweet Aidan. We love you.
Congrats to her and good luck to you!

At this point the UK's having to be 17 to drive doesn't seem so scary!! 15!!

@newbank 15 to be a "driver in training." 16 for a license to drive solo and family. 16.5 to driver one non family member. 17 to drive two more non family members. 18 full adult license. Our oldest being able to drive has been a Godsend. That 1st year, though...a bit terrifying! lol

Terrific collage of her first experience as a driver. I can't imagine how scary it is in the traffic of Atlanta.

Oh, let the fun begin! My son is going for his license test in August, and then he can drive by himself (without me in the car). Yikes.

@newbank what is it in the UK? Here in NSW it is at least 16 to get learners permit - 12 months of L's and then 3 years of P plates

happy and safe driving :)

@annied At 17 can get provisional license where need anyone with a full licence with you. Once you've passed test free to go wherever whenever without any P plates... all bit scary!!
