In typical teen hysterics, my daughter said she was,STARVING, and I had to make dinner ASAP. So I prepared this. Then her friend rolled into town and they wanted to "go out to dinner." More for me I guess, but UH! I'm drinking wine to recover. Homemade Kimchi is still the bomb.
@jgpittenger that's pork. All dishes can be the meat or veggie you prefer. Would work equally well with grilled eggplant, chicken, tofu, etc. I have an appreciation for every food but respect other's regulations, except when it comes to photography:)
They walked out on that (insert italics here) dinner??? Ack! It looks completely delicious, photographed beautifully. At least you have wine as a solace. :)
@rosiekerr@jamibann I was a bit peeved having made it especially quickly because she was starrrrrvvvving, but, admittedly, there was really not enough for 4 people to be "full" after eating. I get a lot of pushback on my cooking. Teens. Sigh.
LOL! I really like your recovery therapy! The food itself looks good and beyond actually! Had my child ask me for food I might have made her macaroni and cheese....... from a box. So you are such a great mom for this.
