This pair is a hoot--they have been trying desperately to get in my back glass door. After bumping themselves over and over at the glass, they went up to survey their next attack atop my grill. So that might explain the odd holes I have in the cover--silly birds!
This is a true "couple"--they are always together. I have my tripod set up today to see if I can catch them going for the glass door again. They don't hurt themselves. They just want in I guess?
@brav Thanks Richard, focus is not great, but I had to act quickly! I'm hoping to hear them pecking at the door very soon to get a better shot today! :)
@gerry Thanks Gerry--it took me awhile to identify what kind of birds they were, but I love their colors too. They are sort of like our American Robin. :)
Oh WOW!!! I have only seen ONE female in my life, and didn't have the best of shots, but this is great! I actually have to go back in the woods to see them. Wonderful capture! :)
@dstod They move so fast too; even read about how it's hard to capture them. They are such a funny pair. Glad you like it! Isn't the female lovely--really wish I had a better focus on this one.
