So, I drive by this defunct Amoco station every time I go to Gibbs Gardens, and I've been dying to get a proper shot of it--and since I had two clients today at the gardens (plus bonus mom in some shots), I convinced them to come play here a bit! Only one daughter was up for the shot here.
As I exited my car, I knew I would want my widest angle, but I thought "maybe bring the bag out anyway." Well, if you see here, that was a pretty bad idea. I left it, someone found it, I got it back. But it could have been worse. But this was a shot I've been thinking of for 5 car trips to the gardens now! Here is with my model: https://365project.org/darylo/album4/2021-03-30
@grammyn He lives just down the street. He saw my bag open (I had the flap open to switch lenses. He initially thought someone had taken a bag, taken the contents, then he saw the lenses and my luggage tag. He was concerned someone just took my camera. He was such a nice person to pick it up for me, contact me, and then return down the road to give it back.
That's very cool. I haven't bought any diesel for a year now so feeling quite smug about these going defunct. They make good subjects though. Glad you got your bag back.
