This poor cardinal was stuck in my neighbor's garage (too frightened to figure out how to exit--he tried these shutters for a minute). Of course, I have gotten the newly minted "crazy bird lady" distinction lately in the neighborhood, so I was asked to come and bird whisper him out. I was not very successful, but I did suggest moving all cars out so he could feel like he had more space to maneuver. Ding! That worked! My husband is skeptical that I had anything to do with it. What does he know? :) Here is my heavily edited photo for your viewing pleasure. Free at last!
hahaha!!! I'm laughing so hard right now! I, too, am the neighborhood "crazy bird lady"! Very smart thinking on your part! I'd give you credit! And of course, I am so glad that the bird got free....poor thing!
Haha, congrats on your success, Crazy bird lady :) Hey, if there's any thing like a bird-whisperer, than we all know who deserves the title. And yeah, what does your husband know? The bird did come out, didn't he?
Plus, I love this almost-silhouette of a bird, and that intense red of the beak and top of the head (oops, don't know the word for that) and tail is just amazing! Really creative shot of a bird!
@shunter@amrita21@lunaksi I'm sorry I thought I responded earlier--I am having big problems with making comments in IE (my browser), so I apologize. Trying to go between IE, which I use for work, and Firefox for 365. IE wins as I'm in it all the time. :(
A lil secret... shhh i talk to birds too.... ;)
