I came out to the side of the house to see if the Robins were "OK," but I must have caught them as they were changing shifts (one stays, the other goes and gets worms), so mom and dad swooped out at me and then proceeded to the neighbor's roof, where I caught them with ruffled heads and wishing I'd leave. Which I did promptly.
Also, another male robin has invaded the back yard to build a new nest (oh, I got him beak full!), but my papa robin here is not happy he is around and attacks him while he looks for food for baby and the other gathers nesting materials. Yard wars begin.
cool shot...beautiful pair....I took a photo today of what I think are robins...like the golden/orangish breasted one....not sure if it is robin since I just moved to Ohio.
