I have only seen one hummingbird and that was on holiday in the States at Zion National Park - just after dawn after I had hiked up the steep face just before the sun rose. Then, when the sun rose the hummingbird appeared. Of course I had no camera with me, but the magical memory of it feeding on the little bush has stayed with me. @photofella Oh, your narrative helps capture the image in the mind, and I really appreciate it! What a wonderful moment to remember as well. I'm captivated by them at the moment! I have never used feeders of any sort, but I got a feeder as a gift, so I see them a bit more often than before, but each fall, I have lots that enjoy the flowers on my pineapple balm I have right out my kitchen window. They are such tiny mythical looking creatures. :)
