Awesome!!!!! You got a male and female together! Red-bellied woodpeckers are one of my favorites. I have only seen my female 3 times, but I've named my male, Woody. Fav!
There's a bunch of woodpeckers in my backyard up in the trees. This is the first time I've seen them venture on the roof of my neighbor. I suspect babies are nearby too. They have been everywhere (but where I need for a good shot--this was a "pleased as punch" moment for me). Thanks for the visit. I'm off to bed and resting up to get rid of this nasty sinus infection, but I saw your comment and wanted to say "me too! I love these guys!"
