Very very cool find,Daryl!I see little holes in them, which means something emerged.Monarch butterflies eat their own egg shells as their first meal.Dont know what thee may be.But if you see little monarch eggs it usually means a teeny tiny wasp parasite hatched out.Now I need to research these.Sorry for my nerdy ramblings!Lol! Fav!
@amandal I was really hoping if I flipped it enough it would look like a stocking so I could use it for my get-pushed (holidays from a unique pov). Alas, it's just a bunch of bb's ! :)
@danette Thanks for dropping by Danette. I'm sorry I'm a lousy commenter these days! I'm heading off the computer right now even, but wanted to say howdy!
Hiding my reply here. Yes, he is headed your way on the 26th. He is going to the botanical gardens on the 27th to propose to his GF. :-) A friend of mine is supposed to have a "photographer" for him to capture the moment. Hoping she follows through!
@danette oh botanical gardens is perfect location! I have a membership and will be there the 23rd for the lights display. Let me know if he needs backup!!!
So, Daryl, my friend isn't sure they can get someone to the gardens to take a few shots on the 27th. Are you able to do that? He wasn't looking to actually hire a photographer. We had hoped to just get someone to take a few shots of the event. He plans to ask her between 7:30-8:00. If you are able, or know someone who wants to do this. He was willing to pay for the entrance fee. Not sure if that is included in your membership. I know this is much to ask!! No pressure, I promise.
@danette The entrance fee is not included, but I can get a discount being a member. It's about 15 or so dollars I think. I'm going the 23rd and if you can tell me exactly where in the gardens he plans to do it, I could try to work on a shot there the 23rd to get settings right. I'm going to give you my "junk" email here: thepickledgarlic@gmail.com. Once you email me, though, send a note on one of these threads and let me know you did it. I'll look for it and then I can send you my real contact info. I've got to check my calendar and make sure I could do it, but I would love to help out any way I can if I'm free. I live about 45 minutes away, but it'd be worth it if it works out! So send me an email with contact info and then let me know you sent it. I'll check my inbox with that email and follow up. :)
I thought the eggs in this photo today looked "vacated" and they are so far apart (but seriously teeny)
