My daughter on right just finished her JV race at the "Covered Bridge" Invitational Cross Country Meet. She's usually a soccer player but crossed over as she started school in a new place. Her buds were about to start their next race too. These events are so much fun to watch (my first time), and I took lots of photos of the running, but this one is one of my favorites...:)
Oh, and I coached the first game of the soccer season and we won big: 6-1. So proud of my girls because only 3 of them had played on a full-sized field before. It was a scorcher of a day. After my family went out to celebrate great runs and soccer wins, I literally passed out on the couch! Whew!
