Strong juxtaposition of the natural trees and the spire. That is one ominous looking piece of equipment eclipsing the columns of the church. And the dark sky works well to set the tone/mood.
A very interesting and unconventional composition, which works well thanks to your caption. This is probably one of those shots which I would certainly have missed because I would not want to take an image of the church with all the construction works and vehicles, but you have made it all work in your favour - very clever!
