Decorated Ceilings at Boston Public Library

This corridor is near the entrance to the historic McKim Building of the library; the grand staircase ascends to the right. I spent most of the day at the library, taking two classes, watching the live broadcast of the Boston Public Radio program, having both lunch and supper at the café, and doing some research on my laptop. It's amazing what goes on at the library nowadays. The BPL is a very popular place--full of people at all hours of the day and evening.
What a beautiful entry to the library - so fitting for Boston.
