Acer

This was taken at Sheffield Park which is known for its collection of Acer trees. These pink seeds( I think) really caught my eye against the green leaves. I thought they looked a bit like the sycamore tree helicopters.
Trying with the “big girls “ camera but I think there might be a fault with the lens. It is quite old and for the year of 2014 pretty much spent time thrown in the bottom of my handbag. It went everywhere with me.
Ps I think this is an Acer, but as many of you will know I’m not very good with tree or flowers names just know I like them.

Delicate pink seeds. Yes they do look like sycamore. Just googled Acer seeds and they are so similar.
