Today was the memorial service of one of our friends and neighbours. She was 63 and in holiday with her husband. Sadly she had a brain bleed and died after a few days.
There must have been 200 people or more there and at one point I doubt there was a dry eye in the house.
Afterwards we went to what I always call “the party”.it was nice to catch up with people who we haven’t seen for a long time. Isn’t it funny how peoples friends cross over with your own for different reasons.
This was the flower on the table.

Always sad to loose someone that you know well. Somehow the gathering afterwards is good therapy for all those sharing the same sadness. A lovely shot with a beautiful rose.
