Don't think this worked as well as I'd hoped, love this chimney and took this from the station platform hence the lines, tried to zoom in but think it made it too grainy, however will revisit.
There really is a lot of interesting lines going on, definitely you should revisit. It´s a little grainy but that can be seen as artistic effect too, so it´s not always such a bad thing you know. Maybe you could take the pic without zoomig and then just post process it ( crop ) it how you want, if it´s on focus, it should handle it (of course it depends on the camera too) I sometimes do that myself when I don´t have a means to "zoom" close enough.
I like the intersecting lines. As the colour isn't important in this shot, convert it to b&w, up the contrast and the grain won't matter - it might even enhance it.
@sugarmuser@pachelbel@catwoman2 Thank you so much for your positive comments @susale@yrhenwr Thank you both for the advice will certainly revisit and try these options in my alternative album.
I sometimes feel irritated with wires that get in the way of things I want to photograph. Short of climbing some handy pole or tree and ripping them down, and perhaps getting electrocuted in the process, the only thing is to make a feature of them, as you've done very well here.
@tristansmum thank you I did feel that this was the only way to porray this at the time. @taz_o@pum71 Thank you all for your kind comments about a photo taken in a hurry after a long day at work.
