#148 Plymouth bombed cathedral

Couple of fillers tonight, this taken in Plymouth on way home from Cornwall. I believe it's left as a memorial to the bombing suffered by the City in the second world war.
I like the old against the new here

I agree with Sharon, I like the old actually in the middle of the new, with that car in the foreground. A reminder of history, which is a good thing.

I like that contrast between old and new, Plymouth and Cornwell, those sound very English, I never really realised you´re from England.

@sugarmuser @sabanford @tristansmum Thank you, it seemed a very poignent reminder.
@susale That's funy, where did you think I was from? I don't live in Cornwall though, just visiting my daughter son in law and grandson down there.

@denidouble I´ve never really thought about that but just never pictured you in England. I follow several people from England, so maybe I just got this idea about English landscapes or something.
