Today I went to the theatre to see the Alan Bennett play, 'People' it was brilliant as ever with one of my favourite playrights. It was performed in this lovely theatre in Leeds city centre, last visited by me in the 1970s to see Roxy Music, I think I sat up the front to cheer on my fav band member, Eno. Ah the days of my youth.
@scolgs@tristansmum I alwys love going to a play, my mother, who died sadly when I was eight, was also a keen theare goer and was an usherette at our now sadly demolitshed theatre here in keighley, so it always reminds me of her when I go to the theatre. This was my second professional production this year, but amateurs can be just as good.
