This is the Jubilee fountain in Windsor town centre. Described below.
Its design is derived from the Crown Jewels, with a long sceptre-like canal containing a line of vertical jets, and at the centre a crown is adorned with 60 stone spheres. Representative of the Queens sixty years reign.
The open space also features a new garden, seating, and ornamental planting using a diamond jubilee theme with white, grey, silver and purple plants.
Not the brightest of days today but think the stormy looking sky adds a little drama. Looks lovely at night when lit up.
