This is SOOC - a lovely evening at a beach half an hour north of where I live. We used to camp at a Regional Park that overlooks this view. It is a lovely place, as it has no power, composting toilets, cold water shower, wood fired barbecues and a safe swimming beach. The kids loved to go here, and we could walk to this island at low tide - lots of big crabs live in the rocks around the island, hence the name. It's real name is Kauritutahi Island.
@rustymonkey Was thinking about you last evening when at the beach - there were two camper vans out there - nice local place for you to have a weekend away and lots of photo ops too.
