Kate and Jesse were both competing at a woodchopping event yesterday in Waiuku. They are both very fit and competed well. It's a really great sport to watch and we're proud of how they work so hard at their sport.
I remember going to wood chopping events with my Dad. We actually had a champion wood chopper living in our area and there was a huge event arranged there. That's so many years ago now. I was just a kid at the time. Great capture of the action
@julzmaioro@golftragic It is actually a pretty safe sport - believe it or not the standing (vertical log) chop is more dangerous as a whole calf muscle/shin is involved if it goes terribly wrong!
