We are 'glamping' at Awhitu tonight and had a lovely walk along the beach. Although the tide was out and it's mostly pretty muddy, the light was great.
@scotthouston we always took the kids camping but they're all grown up so we have bought a van. This is Awhitu regional park - only 30 minutes from home.
p.s. if it doesn't have 5 stars, my wife won't go -- and I enjoyed camping as a boy, too.
