We stayed at Awhitu Regional Park overnight last weekend. On Sunday, we walked up to the lookout, which looks directly across to the city of Auckland. Unfortunately it was very cloudy/misty, so the city cannot be seen. If you look closely, our van can just be seen amongst the trees.
