Kaka Beak colour by dide

Kaka Beak colour

A few weeks ago I had some images of the kaka beak flower buds. This is how it looks now - a blaze of colour. They can be tricky to grow and often get struck by caterpillars or snapped off in the wind. So far, so good!
It's look ing beautiful ... looks very christmassy...

ooh - I was just talking about this as an option to plant in place of the overgrown trees we have just been pulling out. This decides me, I am now on the hunt for some of these plants. What a fabulous red colour you have captured here.
