We stayed overnight at the local regional park. This time we parked in the self-contained area and had it all to ourselves. The proper camping area still had quite a few people in it and we were able to call on some good friends. They were camping and we arrived 'just in time for a cuppa'! This afternoon we are finally getting some rain, so hope it lasts for a while.
@spanner yes it’s a lovely place that we have bee going to for about 30 years. Remote camping with 4 kids.... a little different now that we are glamping - no setup or pack down needed!
@yaorenliu no - we headed for home before the weather packed in. But we have had big winds, lots of rain and the local beaches were very rough at high tide.
